The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldemar Losantos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Baldemar Losantos sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 55 minutes into the match, Hammer Zdanów's goalkeeper Milosz Ciempa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldemar Losantos in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hammer Zdanów's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milosz Ciempa came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milosz Ciempa. Milosz Ciempa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Weinhardt in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marian Bugno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
