Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Venko Petrov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Bansko's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Toromanov in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Ivan Toromanov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 19 played minutes FC Bansko got a freekick which was hit by Gencho Mangezov. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venko Petrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venko Petrov in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitar Vetzov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venko Petrov to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Venko Petrov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Petrov in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Venko Petrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Bansko's Avgustin Lúskov was substituted for Arso Palahanov. In the 75th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Dimitar Vetzov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venko Petrov in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Venko Petrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
