An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute of play forced DİRİLİŞ 61's goalkeeper Abelardo Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Hunfredo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Oker came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Oker in the 13th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Hunfredo having to interfere. Abelardo Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 21st minute of play. Abraham Alguacil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Hunfredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, DİRİLİŞ 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominick Vaes to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Oker hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, DİRİLİŞ 61's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Abelardo Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Hunfredo. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Abelardo Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Panama booed when DİRİLİŞ 61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktan Tuyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DİRİLİŞ 61's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Hunfredo came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salih Remiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Panama booed when DİRİLİŞ 61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 63rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salih Remiz in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salih Remiz. Abraham Alguacil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Abraham Alguacil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Oker in the 90th minute of play. Abelardo Hunfredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, DİRİLİŞ 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uygur Tekalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Hunfredo skillfully saved the ball. In the 97th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
