Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Gasly in the 60th minute of the match. Classe A Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre Gasly took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ricciardo came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Paulinho Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute. Chile were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
