Venko Petrov might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venko Petrov ran back to his position shaking his head. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Venko Petrov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bansko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FC Bansko's Avgustin Lúskov was substituted for Arso Palahanov. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. FC Bansko's Beloslav Beykov was substituted for Gencho Mangezov. The supporters of FC Bansko booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paun Atkov in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venko Petrov in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bansko had played much better football throughout.
