Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apoena Ocaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apoena Ocaña in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Apoena Ocaña put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Apoena Ocaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rayo Tharkad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zumar Figueroa in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Manolo Lacorte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolo Lacorte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Gilesindo Alonso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 18 minutes, Salvador Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Gisbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Roig in the 22nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Snäll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Manolo Lacorte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Apoena Ocaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Lacorte in the 39th minute of the match. Rayo Tharkad made a substitution. Adolfo Hevia replaced Hondo Arratia. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Rayo Tharkad were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Leon. 57 minutes into the match, Apoena Ocaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apoena Ocaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 63 minutes into the game, Apoena Ocaña recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Apoena Ocaña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Rayo Tharkad's Adolfo Hevia. But to his dismay, Adolfo Hevia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Adolfo Hevia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Apoena Ocaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Tharkad's supporters rose to their feet, but Apoena Ocaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Apoena Ocaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Tharkad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. In the 81st minute, Manolo Lacorte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Snäll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Apoena Ocaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Rayo Tharkad were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zumar Figueroa took the corner. If Feliciano Roig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apoena Ocaña in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Apoena Ocaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
