Sarper Cesman took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play forced Cappadocia FC's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oğuzhan Er saved Cappadocia FC from getting behind. In the 32nd minute of the match, Naim Ökmen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute Naim Ökmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Ökmen in the 36th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Oğuzhan Er tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarper Cesman in the 42nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Cappadocia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Oğuzhan Er tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzhan Er having to interfere. Luca Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Oğuzhan Er made a huge save.
