Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Hernando in the 15th minute. Benjamin Olentzaro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Fabio Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fabio Hernando sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Emeterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Dante Lacasa throw himself and got hold of the ball when 唐远升 in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dustin Zentner's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dustin Zentner helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Vilo Futbol Club's Alvaro Castel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th match minute, Vilo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Aztore to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Emeterio having to interfere. Vilo Futbol Club's Uriel Clodio was substituted for Delmiro Ospin.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vilo Futbol Club's Dustin Zentner got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐远升, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 唐远升 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. With a little luck, Vilo Futbol Club's Fabian Emeterio got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Hernando came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Castel in the 72nd minute of the match. Fabio Hernando hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Emeterio. The goal made the score 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 唐远升 in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Vilo Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Fabian Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Hernando in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
