The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Efrain Moruga put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by KS Beskid Andrychów's Benedykt Nalaskowski, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With an all-out effort, KS Beskid Andrychów's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boruc Pracki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, KS Beskid Andrychów's Gwidon Lampa got a free kick in the 25th minute. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a KS Beskid Andrychów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Pracki came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Nalaskowski got in the 41st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Benito Sanz. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Domin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The supporters of KS Beskid Andrychów booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Domin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 82 minutes of play, KS Beskid Andrychów's Zygmunt Gierlach made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Pracki in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Domin in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedykt Nalaskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The supporters of KS Beskid Andrychów booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KS Beskid Andrychów fully deserved thier win.
