The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saint Jean Pierre during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great ball. Xines Bretal lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD ZAS! The referee gave Haiti a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Alphonse, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela. 0-1. Saint Jean Pierre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rey Cerezuela. UD ZAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cuero Socobio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Jonathan Alphonse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Felix Dorval got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rey Cerezuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rey Cerezuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. With an all-out effort, UD ZAS's Noel Seide threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from William Bucaran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A sloppy throw-in by Marquez Uncal in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Ernso Constant. Rey Cerezuela came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse. But to his dismay, Jonathan Alphonse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rey Cerezuela was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Marquez Uncal in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Ernso Constant. Haiti's Raymond Louis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marquez Uncal, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Claude Ulysse got a free kick in the 56th minute. UD ZAS's Texeira Magdalena was substituted for William Bucaran. Jean Claude Ulysse kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segio Lucas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Seide saved Haiti from getting behind. Texeira Magdalena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haiti's attentive Rodney Emmanuel managed to snatch the ball when Marquez Uncal made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rey Cerezuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Texeira Magdalena charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Texeira Magdalena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Gesner Philippe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Ernso Constant.
