Astor Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Guipuzkoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 14 played minutes Expedition Lubin got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ronaldo. Astor Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Guipuzkoa. Astor Guipuzkoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Astor Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Pacio came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Patrice Pacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrice Pacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Astor Guipuzkoa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Expedition Lubin's Astor Guipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Expedition Lubin from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Guipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patrice Pacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Astor Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Astor Guipuzkoa made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Expedition Lubin's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Astor Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Pacio in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 65th minute of play forced Expedition Lubin's goalkeeper Astor Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Mcdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Guipuzkoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Mcdonald ran back to his position shaking his head. Expedition Lubin made a substitution. Teofil Zagrobelny replaced Dawid Bienienda. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrice Pacio went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Expedition Lubin's Astor Guipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 76th minute of play. Astor Guipuzkoa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Astor Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Astor Guipuzkoa, 1-4. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
