Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. Mauro Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Rameriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mauro Rameriz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Edmond Verdun however easily saved by the left post. After 30 minutes of play, Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Errecaborda AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Ado to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Pastor Ado could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Isidro Gines got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Mauro Rameriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 86th minute of the match. Miguel Savion's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Savion helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Miguel Savion got a free kick in the 86th minute. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. Miguel Savion hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Errecaborda AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
