After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 13th minute. 柯克政's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Erik Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La 李南南 in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If 柯克政 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 『挑战者』夔门FC's Per-Erik Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 柯克政 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 谢城傲 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but 谢城傲 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Hjortberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Per-Erik Hjortberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 53rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 谢城傲 kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 『挑战者』夔门FC:s goal. In the 73rd match minute, 『挑战者』夔门FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 尹响傲 to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Per-Erik Hjortberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute La 李南南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 柯克政 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. After 89 played minutes 『挑战者』夔门FC got a freekick which was hit by La 李南南. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 『挑战者』夔门FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
