Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fabiano Vidal started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when William Wallman sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Wallman got free with Julio Vera in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Wallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Jonathan Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Luís Fabiano Vidal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Wallman in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Söderström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 40th minute of the match, William Wallman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. William Wallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Söderström having to interfere. Jonathan Söderström came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bermendespor's Jonathan Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Bermendespor from getting a goal against them. If Luís Fabiano Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksun Tetiker in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Göksun Tetiker made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Jonathan Söderström however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bermendespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Çetinoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Söderström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
