Sidónio Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ivar Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Valentim Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL-Bombarralense B's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Verduyckt in the 82nd minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Silveira in the 83rd minute of play. Ivar Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 85th minute of play forced AL-Bombarralense B's goalkeeper Ivar Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Björling. AL-Bombarralense B's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
