Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hasan Ali Ünalmış was slow to take the kick. During this time 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Hasan Ali Ünalmış was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hasan Ali Ünalmış shot a long shot in the 19th minute and a light blocked Pedro Manzanares hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iskandar de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Iskandar de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alkın Uğursoy stood somewhat misplaced when Santino Seco came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 27 minute. After a rather tough play, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Luo Ying Xi got a free kick in the 36th minute. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. 47 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Iskandar de Lara came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Granberg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iskandar de Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Luo Ying Xi in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Luis Cazalla. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Alkın Uğursoy. Alkın Uğursoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Resul Suel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 65th minute of the game. Hasan Ali Ünalmış hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Alkın Uğursoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 71st minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play forced 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s goalkeeper Alkın Uğursoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkın Uğursoy having to interfere. 1901 Black Stockings F.C.'s Akis Michopoulos was substituted for Murat Selim Enginsoy. 1901 Black Stockings F.C. made a substitution.
