Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baldomero Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced Juventud Antoniana's goalkeeper Baldomero Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Juventud Antoniana's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Baldomero Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Trayan Davchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Trayan Davchev fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Juventud Antoniana's Baldomero Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Shantala. Baldomero Shantala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Juventud Antoniana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bentley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Shantala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Juventud Antoniana's Fausto Tiniebra was substituted for 贺适轩. In the 69th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Baldomero Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Abeitia in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Sadurni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Juventud Antoniana's Baldomero Shantala got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomero Shantala made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
