In the 19th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fulgencio Eskuin. Fulgencio Eskuin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Tetra Pack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With his leg Fulgencio Eskuin managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eskuin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fulgencio Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Tetra Pack FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Prospero Fidele hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fulgencio Eskuin. The goal made the score 4-0. The supporters of Tetra Pack FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tetra Pack FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Francisco Seco scored to the left of an out of position Fulgencio Eskuin, making the score, 5-0.

Fulgencio Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Eskuin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Tetra Pack FC's Fulgencio Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfredo Oier. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Osoro in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 62nd minute of play forced Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Tetra Pack FC defense, Alberto Gisbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Eskuin. The Tetra Pack FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Eskuin should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Braulio Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fulgencio Eskuin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. 78 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Tetra Pack FC's Fulgencio Eskuin. Fulgencio Eskuin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Osoro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tetra Pack FC's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Eskuin came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Eskuin. Tetra Pack FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 94 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Fulgencio Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uruguay had played much better football throughout.
