After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 5th minute of play forced The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goalkeeper Ambrosio Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Lars Waller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 22nd minute of play forced The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goalkeeper Ambrosio Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Leonel Opilano was substituted for Javier Ponciano. In the 25th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 31st minute of play forced The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goalkeeper Ambrosio Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ambrosio Abancens. Ambrosio Abancens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a The Big Bang Team Jr.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 40th minute of the match. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan in the 47th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

If Lars Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lars Waller sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Ambrosio Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ambrosio Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Leonel Opilano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-3 after 66 minutes of play. Ruperto Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-4 after 74 minutes of play. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 78 minute. If Ruperto Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Osvaldo Ferrando was substituted for Ruperto Ekaitz. The supporters of The Big Bang Team Jr. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Big Bang Team Jr. the free kick. After 88 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. When The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Osvaldo Ferrando in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Ferrando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play.
