The Sunkens Surtröjor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sokol Narev should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gylippus Panayiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Osman Ali Semi in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Sokol Narev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ke Zheng Feng in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. The throw-in from Laércio Coutinho in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Sunkens Surtröjor's Error Uchiha was substituted for Evelio Loi. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sokol Narev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gylippus Panayiotopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laércio Coutinho took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sunkens Surtröjor's corner Laércio Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Källberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Error Uchiha. Sunkens Surtröjor made a substitution. Anton Galle replaced Victor Blom. In the 75th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokol Narev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sokol Narev made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
