Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 5th minute of play. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute of the match Stiinta-Univ. got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil Oargă ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Tomasz Gacek at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of USA. 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Bradley in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stiinta-Univ.'s Benjamim Urbano. After 34 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgil Oargă who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner Virgil Oargă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Stiinta-Univ.'s Virgil Oargă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Bradley in the 36 minute of the game. If Shi Ming Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s attentive Benjamim Urbano managed to snatch the ball when Diego Bradley made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriu Morovan to make the kick off. Shi Ming Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Valeriu Morovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stiinta-Univ.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Jacob May kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 68th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Valeriu Morovan sent off a good shot on target. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 78th minute of the match. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Okan Koc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stiinta-Univ.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antoni Kachamakov in the 85th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Okan Koc to score against Marco Day in USA's goal. 1-4 after 85 minutes. Okan Koc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of Stiinta-Univ. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as USA had held the ball for most of the match.
