Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abram Sarmiento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazmija Stojković, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 4th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nazmija Stojković from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 5th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Nazmija Stojković came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12th play minutes Rolando Alley shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. 14 minutes into the match, Nazmija Stojković dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Calva saved Atlético de Caracas from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tom Wassenius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Colombia booed when Atlético de Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Alley in the 24th minute. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Atlético de Caracas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner led to Colombia's Luis Cazalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kevin Mastache might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zarando Calva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Mastache ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Calva saved Atlético de Caracas from getting behind. Zarando Calva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Yaar O'Connell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Manzanares, passed just outside the right post. 39 minutes into the game, Rolando Alley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Atlético de Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Zarando Calva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Alley to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Santino Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zarando Calva, 3-2. Ákos Sándor kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarando Calva having to make a save. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 68th minute. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 70th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match, Abram Secada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zarando Calva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético de Caracas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zarando Calva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 75 minutes on the clock, Antonio Indiano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Atlético de Caracas. Aires Laguno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Manzanares. 4-2. With a little luck, Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarando Calva having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Wassenius in the 84th minute of play. Zarando Calva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zarando Calva. Atlético de Caracas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 88th minute Tom Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético de Caracas's zone, Abram Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarando Calva came out of the goal and Abram Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Secada. A collision led to Atlético de Caracas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sixto Lluc hit a great ball. With a little luck, Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 97th minute.
