Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rolando Alley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Alley could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Thiago Pliego however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Yaar O'Connell got a free kick in the 14th minute. Zarando Calva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Atlético de Caracas got a freekick which was hit by Yaar O'Connell. Guillermo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Alley in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zarando Calva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zarando Calva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Nazmija Stojković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Caracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazmija Stojković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Sotil came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Zarando Calva in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Atlético de Caracas fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Atlético de Caracas's Rolando Alley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Wassenius came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Moizuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético de Caracas from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Lacasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético de Caracas.
