Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zarando Calva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Nazmija Stojković got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nazmija Stojković showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. In the 38th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Rolando Alley could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Nazmija Stojković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Atlético de Caracas's Aires Laguno was substituted for Nazmija Stojković. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Alley went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Zarando Calva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute. Zarando Calva made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Zarando Calva in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarando Calva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Alley in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Wassenius came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Atlético de Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Sotil hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Nuno Santarém replaced Rolando Alley. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Emiliano Sotil got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarando Calva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nuno Santarém sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Santarém in the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético de Caracas.
