Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkın Öğüç, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Arkın Öğüç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mämmädbağır Svensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Mämmädbağır Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkın Öğüç in the 25th minute of play. Arkın Öğüç took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Joakim Forss was substituted for Michael Karlsson. The supporters of USA booed when Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Tielemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Joakim Forss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edward Mcdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mämmädbağır Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joakim Forss in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gunnar Pettersson ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 57th minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Mämmädbağır Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mämmädbağır Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Forss in the 82nd minute of play. Joakim Forss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Forss came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
