Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leszek Henryk kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Leszek Henryk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Leszek Henryk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Henryk in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When San Martin de Tucumán's Leszek Henryk in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Shao Wei Wei put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Henryk came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Henryk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Leszek Henryk slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 27th minute. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Leszek Henryk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leszek Henryk really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. Shao Wei Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. A collision led to San Martin de Tucumán getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jonas Loco hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Niklas Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. In the 65th minute of the match Nicasio Jaizki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when San Martin de Tucumán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Godofredo Maule in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Wei Wei in the 84th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shao Wei Wei in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shao Wei Wei struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucumán. San Martin de Tucumán were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
