Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Monclús, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteban Iztal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Esteban Iztal to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Freixa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Gabriel Erramun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ismael Tejedor in the 12 minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Elpidio Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, André Monclús cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 28th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ismael Tejedor got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alfredo Ferrant. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, André Monclús kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 36th minute of play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Monclús, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Francis might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Francis ran back to his position shaking his head. André Monclús fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Arnoldo Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Elpidio Francis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Freixa. The goal made the score 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Elpidio Francis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 0-8 in the 62 minute of play. Ismael Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Elpidio Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Camilo Freixa threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Monclús, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. André Monclús blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Ismael Tejedor hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Elpidio Francis made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 93rd minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bolivia.
