Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Gayoso came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meder Muños might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meder Muños ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meder Muños in the 23rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Roland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was a well-played corner which Alonso Berganza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ovidio Roland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo De Paul in the 67 minute of the game. Ovidio Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Roland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Intimos de Reynoso from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Muños, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Meder Muños came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidio Roland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Roland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Gallo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 94 minute of play.
