Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Islam Slimani kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Nicola Zalewski sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lu Hong Qiang saved Mauro from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stasio Przebendowski hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mauro's goalkeeper Lu Hong Qiang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lu Hong Qiang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lu Hong Qiang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicola Zalewski in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barnaba Falke was slow to take the kick. During this time Mauro's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lu Hong Qiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nicola Zalewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nicola Zalewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbyszek Marud kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Mauro's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Lu Hong Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Barnaba Falke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lu Hong Qiang. The goal made the score 0-1. Islam Slimani took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicola Zalewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Islam Slimani in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Lu Hong Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Islam Slimani made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mauro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
