With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Predators's Çakır Baycan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute, Nazmi Deryace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çakır Baycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Çakır Baycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute of play forced Predators's goalkeeper Semir Jakubović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakır Baycan in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semir Jakubović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Freitas in the 88th minute of play. Nazmi Deryace's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazmi Deryace helped the player get up and apologised. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute. It was a well-played corner which Xavier Figueroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
