Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meder Muños in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Roland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Roland was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Meder Muños struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intimos de Reynoso. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 56th play minute Julian Murillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidio Roland. 0-3. 61 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ovidio Roland could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidio Roland. That made the score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. Ovidio Roland made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the game, Rodrigo De Paul threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 79 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 80th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Milagros Fraga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 86th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Mina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Ovidio Roland made a huge save. The Intimos de Reynoso fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
