A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Juan Estevez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Tulio Andinyach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Estevez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Enrique Cassaretto made a precise shot to the right of Juan Estevez. Academia 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Orlanda during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siro Orlanda hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Academia 1903's Juan Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Tulio Andinyach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Tulio Andinyach notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Academia 1903's Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Cordario hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Diego Cordario charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Cordario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Enrique Cassaretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Estevez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 34 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Estevez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fidel Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia 1903's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Tadzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Forsyth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Abel Lartaun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Forsyth skillfully saved the ball. 44 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Estevez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Siro Orlanda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Forsyth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Cassaretto to make the kick off. CD Municipal's attentive Aureliano Buendia managed to snatch the ball when Diego Cordario made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. CD Municipal made a substitution. Evtim Kúrdzhev replaced Tulio Andinyach. CD Municipal made a substitution. Ryota Miyagi replaced Enrique Cassaretto. 69 minutes into the game, Ryota Miyagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Juan Estevez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oalo Dean took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevez. Juan Estevez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Ryota Miyagi scored 0-12 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Estevez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Estevez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Dean in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ryota Miyagi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Estevez, 0-13. In the 85th minute Oalo Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Estevez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oalo Dean went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Juan Estevez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oalo Dean in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Estevez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. Juan Estevez was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Ryota Miyagi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ryota Miyagi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-16. When the final whistle sounded CD Municipal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia 1903.
