In the 4th match minute, Glemmingebro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Flink to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Glemmingebro IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Luis Tanio hit a great ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henning Flink in the 11th minute. Henning Flink's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walter Bergström during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro IF's Walter Bergström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, one of Glemmingebro IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 25 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Hammarström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Henning Flink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Henning Flink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Glemmingebro IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kristian Arenstedt hit a great ball. Christian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Oskar Hammarström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Henning Flink sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Sjöström who took care of the corner kick. Glemmingebro IF's Peter Sjöström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Sven-Oskar Hammarström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glemmingebro IF's Sven-Oskar Hammarström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute of play. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaf Hansson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Hammarström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. 60 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Hammarström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Honduras booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Sjöström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Oskar Hammarström came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Gustaf Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaf Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 78th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Hammarström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Hansson in the 80th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kristian Arenstedt in the 86 minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Hansson in the 97th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
