An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunvald Mitens in the 6th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Denis Schubring made a precise shot to the right of Juan Estevez. Academia 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Fidel Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Tadzio in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Ernst Barskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Tadzios short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ted Kobbeltvedt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Hemming Glykær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Estevez. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hemming Glykær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Juan Estevez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunvald Mitens went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Academia 1903 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Drik were winning 0-6.

A collision led to Academia 1903 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Anacleto Abaurre hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Alfonso Patrido got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes in the game Willy Reitoft after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Juan Estevez. A very good opportunity. Denis Schubring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Estevez having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Denis Schubring recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Estevez. Denis Schubring showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Barskov in the 72nd minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Juan Estevez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemming Glykær received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Estevez came out and tried to block the shot, but Hemming Glykær slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 74th minute. In the 78th play minute Calvin Townsley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Estevez. 0-9. Ernst Barskov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Juan Estevez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Garin in the 85th minute of the match. When Denis Schubring fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Drik's protests and gave Denis Schubring a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Schubring kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Estevez. That made the score 0-10 in the 94 minute of play. The Academia 1903 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Drik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
