Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Guerrero to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Jerold in the 52nd minute of play forced Monster Proyect's goalkeeper Vytautas Gudonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Juanita's Virgilio Jerold got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico Juanita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Monster Proyect's Rosendo Gaitano got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Monster Proyect were the better team. Monster Proyect's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
