The audience held their breath when Wang Hai in the 14th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Julio Falcioni's left hand side. Ariel Mourelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhondt in the 16th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Amboy FC's goalie and right to Sven-Ove Chrintz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Amboy FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Franky Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Dhondt couldn't finish the play. Julio Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Goleš, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Franky Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nestor de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 44th minute of play. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 45th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 狄钢远. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franky Dhondt was the one to do the kick off. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Falcioni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bennvar Back's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Mourelatos was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Bennvar Back made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Mourelatos. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amboy FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
