The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sébastien Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Pádár in the 5th minute of play. In the 40th minute, one of Mapovihesa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mapovihesa FC. Tomás Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Potocianu having to interfere. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Cordarin was the one to do the kick off. Raimundo Erramu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sébastien Frey came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Erramu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 76th minute. Constantin Potocianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Klawki in the 81st minute of the match. Jerzy Wojno in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sébastien Frey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey got control of the ball when Jerzy Wojno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Klawki came free, but Constantin Potocianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
