With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Atlético Matorrales were awarded a corner. Iker Tino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Atlético Matorrales's corner Iker Tino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sébastien Frey quite easily take care of the ball. Tolga Hitit hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 32nd minute of play. Tadeo Quilino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Sébastien Frey made a huge save. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Cordarin in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 40th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Cordarin took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Loco. Claes Sjögren's late challenge caught a Atlético Matorrales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Sjögren helped the player get up and apologised. Claes Sjögren hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tadeo Quilino made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Hitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Tomás Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Tomás Cordarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Loco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Cordarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Cordarin. Tomás Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonardo Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TORQUE F.C.. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Leonardo Loco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 66th minute of the match TORQUE F.C. got a corner. Atlético Matorrales's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermegildo Errolan ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Cordarin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Loco saved Atlético Matorrales from getting behind. Sébastien Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Damario in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Tomás Cordarin took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Leonardo Loco to make any attempt to save it. Tomás Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Leonardo Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TORQUE F.C.. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco got control of the ball when Tomás Cordarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomás Cordarin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Loco came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Cordarin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 85th minute. Leonardo Loco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Cordarin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. Tomás Cordarin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Loco came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Cordarin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 93rd minute. Inocencio Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Loco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TORQUE F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
