The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Kenneth Libesoons successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Edgard Tirso got a free kick in the 17th minute. Sébastien Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Kania in the 29th minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Dawid Kania made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. TORQUE F.C.'s Sébastien Frey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Isidoro Buinton threw the ball into play from the sideline. TORQUE F.C.'s Romulo Estebano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Terremoto FC:s Kenneth Libesoons showed great skill when he stopped Tomás Cordarin:s penalty. The TORQUE F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Terremoto FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Cordarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sébastien Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Kania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terremoto FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after TORQUE F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilario Duarte took the corner. Dawid Kania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sébastien Frey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Terremoto FC's Jeremias Macedo was substituted for Dawid Kania. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TORQUE F.C.'s goalie and right to Gaston Laurentzi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TORQUE F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Terremoto FC defense, Dominik Klawki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Libesoons. The Terremoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Libesoons should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Macedo came free, but Sébastien Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Mancinelli in the 78th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terremoto FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after TORQUE F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilario Duarte took the corner. Terremoto FC's Hilario Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sébastien Frey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Klawki in the 83rd minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Terremoto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Tirso to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Macedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sébastien Frey came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
