Bonifacio Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torrey Molloy in the 20th minute of the match. Godofredo Tiadoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Dicu having to make a save. Petruț Dicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Tiadoro in the 22nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Baumer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Tiadoro got free with Petruț Dicu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Domuță in the 38th minute of play. Brujas KV's Petruț Dicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Brujas KV from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Godofredo Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Dicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alejo Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Dicu having to interfere. Brujas KV's Renato Portalupi was substituted for Bernardino Blai. Brujas KV's Ilkay Gündoğan was substituted for Martin Mundo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
