The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Jerold came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Juanita booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Libesoons came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Juanita's Baltasar Guerrero. But to his dismay, Baltasar Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baltasar Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Libesoons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Club Atletico Juanita were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benigno Lopes took the corner. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Uriel Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Gitano having to interfere. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Jerold in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Kania to make the kick off. Kenneth Libesoons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Jerold in the 63rd minute. Placido Gitano came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto FC's Dawid Kania. But to his dismay, Dawid Kania quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kenneth Libesoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons got control of the ball when Orlando Macerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Baltasar Guerrero could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Kenneth Libesoons however easily saved by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Hilario Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
