In the 5th minute Gaston Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Pfaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Terremoto FC were awarded a corner. Jonas Lore went to the cornerflag to take it. Terremoto FC's Jonas Lore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean-Marie Pfaff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Kenneth Libesoons made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jan Ceulemans sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Marie Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 18th minute of play. Shi Ming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brujas KV's Jean-Marie Pfaff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hilario Duarte hit a great ball. Shi Ming might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Marie Pfaff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Ming ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 28th minute of play. Shi Ming took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Marie Pfaff. Jean-Marie Pfaff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Terremoto FC's attentive Pablo Herrera managed to snatch the ball when Ragıp İkinci made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Shi Ming ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Marie Pfaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 46th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Terremoto FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gaston Laurentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Marie Pfaff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Shi Ming might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Marie Pfaff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Ming ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute Shi Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Pfaff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Juan Chabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terremoto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brujas KV the free kick. Jean-Marie Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terremoto FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Lore in the 59th minute. Jonas Lore made a great header on Terremoto FC's corner, it was just that Brujas KV's Jean-Marie Pfaff managed to reach the ball for a save. Jean-Marie Pfaff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Laurentzi in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Terremoto FC's Gaston Laurentzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Marie Pfaff. Jean-Marie Pfaff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Jean-Marie Pfaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 70th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Ming was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Terremoto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pablo Roso made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Martin Mundo. In the 81st minute, Terremoto FC's Shi Ming ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Marie Pfaff. Jean-Marie Pfaff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Bernardino Blai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, one of Brujas KV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Shi Ming placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Gaston Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Terremoto FC's Shi Ming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean-Marie Pfaff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Terremoto FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
