Kent Saka might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Quentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Saka ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Ramiro Federigo in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mapovihesa FC's Celedonio Harri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Azeari in the 38th minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Constantin Potocianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Usain Bolt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapovihesa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Usain Bolt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Potocianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Eutor in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Erruki to make the kick off. Facundo Gay made a great header on Mapovihesa FC's corner, it was just that Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin managed to reach the ball for a save. Constantin Potocianu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Roberto Eutor. But to his dismay, Roberto Eutor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Virgilio Quentin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Marcial Iratze sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Erramu in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Virgilio Quentin. Virgilio Quentin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Quentin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Virgilio Quentin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jerzy Wojno sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute of the match, Jerzy Wojno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgilio Quentin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcial Iratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Virgilio Quentin made a huge save. The Mapovihesa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
