Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erivaldo Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Borges in the 15th minute of the match. Saul Goodman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. The supporters of Chile booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Yue Yun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Feng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Wydrych in the 23rd minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feng Chao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Feng Chao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes, Villa Verde FC's Erivaldo Borges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Verde FC reached it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chile's goalie and right to Du Yue Yun. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chile's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Florian Wydrych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feng Chao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feng Chao Wei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes Villa Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feng Chao Wei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Alexsandro Garcia replaced Wesley Basso. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Verde FC from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 62nd minute Florian Wydrych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Wydrych in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Coroian to maneuver through the defense. Villa Verde FC's Belmiro Borges was substituted for Dida Viana. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Luís Guilherme Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Florian Wydrych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Feng Chao Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Luís Guilherme Cearense scored 3-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Du Yue Yun. With his leg Feng Chao Wei managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa had several of the Villa Verde FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Feng Chao Wei as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chile's attentive Alan Tamayo managed to snatch the ball when Belmiro Borges made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Grigore Coroian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Yue Yun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Verde FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
