After 13 played minutes meyzieu fc got a freekick which was hit by Victor Vaille. Mustapha Ogier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of El Salvador booed when meyzieu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Hauser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Allan Vester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Allan Vester really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Coureau, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mustapha Ogier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Fernandino went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustapha Ogier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Aiolos Lalagos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. meyzieu fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. Aiolos Lalagos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, meyzieu fc's Mustapha Ogier got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to meyzieu fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Victor Vaille hit a great ball. Hercule Goigoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Théophile kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. When Victor Vaille fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored meyzieu fc's protests and gave Victor Vaille a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when meyzieu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vaille didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayanne Le Bastard in the 78th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rayanne Le Bastard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Yepes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Salvador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Yepes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Salvador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rayanne Le Bastard went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. meyzieu fc had played much better football throughout.
