Mustapha Ogier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlus Waugh in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, meyzieu fc's Adam Mutin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in meyzieu fc reached it. 16 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Finlay Stair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustapha Ogier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Vester came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Vester, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sidney Théophile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, meyzieu fc's Hercule Goigoux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Vester in the 30th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, meyzieu fc's Hercule Goigoux made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! meyzieu fc's Chris Hauser got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Mutin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 42nd minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Vaille took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jamaica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Vaille was slow to take the kick. During this time meyzieu fc's players had a chance to rest. Geroy Ascue tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Demonde Jacobson. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-5 in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hercule Goigoux made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Coureau came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes, Jamaall Padmore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the meyzieu fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamaall Padmore to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Vester kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-6 in the 55 minute of play. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidney Théophile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 58 minute of play. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Hercule Goigoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Hercule Goigoux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 1-8. meyzieu fc's Rayanne Le Bastard was substituted for Allan Vester. Victor Vaille received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Vaille slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Hercule Goigoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. The supporters of meyzieu fc booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kordal Duff didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Chris Hauser from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Demonde Jacobson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoann Loupias got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. meyzieu fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
