Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Ramon Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Big Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 6th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Ticho during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Ticho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Pueblo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 52nd minute of play. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Big Hands, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 81st minute, Mauricio Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Ramon Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Big Hands was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
