Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Eguen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Salgado in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Matheu City FC's zone, Abram Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Eguen came out of the goal and Abram Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Eguen having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Mariano Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
