Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 2nd minute of play forced Campeones del Mundo's goalkeeper Daniel Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Ferrer struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeones del Mundo. Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Campeones del Mundo's goalkeeper Daniel Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Igon. Campeones del Mundo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Igon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Daniel Igon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Sugoi. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Guillermo Gorosti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Igon was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a little luck, Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montes made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon managed to reach the ball for a save. The Campeones del Mundo fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Campeones del Mundo's Fulgencio Ferrer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Gorosti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Igon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Igon came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Gorosti in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Guillermo Gorosti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Campeones del Mundo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
