Casimiro Ugutz was slow to take the kick. During this time Nouvelle Vague's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Nouvelle Vague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Villaverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Casimiro Ugutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Casimiro Ugutz sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Juninho Juni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ugutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Casimiro Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Casimiro Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Ugutz went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz. But to his dismay, Casimiro Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Casimiro Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Nouvelle Vague from getting a goal against them. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nouvelle Vague were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Ugutz was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-8 after 51 minutes of play. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Casimiro Ugutz scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 0-9. 58 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Genovese came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 60th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Casimiro Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. If Osmar Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Henrico in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Luis Henrico took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Ricardo Zorita to make any attempt to save it. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Luis Henrico scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 0-12. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Henrico in the 84th minute of play. Luis Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. 94 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Nouvelle Vague played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
